Spanning the globe on a Monday morning. ...

The game SEC fans - and most college football fans - have been waiting for is this week, No. 1 LSU and No. 2 Alabama. From the Birmingham News, Tide fans can take comfort in the fact that Les Miles got one against Nick Saban last year, because, the News says, no one handles rematches like Saban.

From Baton Rouge, Gannett Louisiana takes a look at the coaching matchup in the first of a seven-part series leading up to the game.

From New York, columnist Dick Weiss says Georgia's win over Florida removed Mark Richt from the hot seat. ...

From Stillwater, Oklahoma State keeps winning without All-American receiver Justin Blackmon. Cowboys coach Mike Gundy is hopeful Blackmon will be back for Saturday's game against Kansas State. OSU is No. 3 in the latest BCS release, which means it will be No. 2 - if it beats K-State - following someone's loss in Tuscaloosa...

This coaching staff has got to be the worst in.football at making half time adjustments. Our running game was killing them in first half and their running game was mediocre. Second half looked like we had never played football. Two weeks in a row same thing. IT'S TIME FOR A CHANGE OR ELSE THINGS WILL NEVER GET BETTER!

My old buddies over at Tallahassee could have been in that BCS, but the Sooners put an end to that early in the season. they got beat up and lost key players, then a three game losing streak end their, mine and grandsons hope. could have been another jinx by me, I should never watch a game and pull for a team. Did it to the Rebels Saints, and now to the Noles. I got to start watching Gator football before they meet the Noles.

Who is pulling for who Tigers or Bama? just let me know and I will put the Hex in them, Ha!Ha!.

It would be too easy to say I told you so. #5 ran through, around and over the D. I still thought that the win was there for the taking, but again Nutt was out adjusted at half-time. Mackey has to pass more acurately and more often. Kentucky will load the box to make Mackey have to pass. If Mackey can complete more than 45% percent of pass attempts, then the victory will be won. Bad news is that Kentucky's fresman QB is better that the starter, who probably won't play this Saturday.
