Pondering a couple of mid-week moves while getting ready to get on the road to Nashville. ...

Do you like the moves during the week of two of the Rebels' most high profile signees, Nick Brassell and C.J. Johnson?

Brassell, it appears, will be a two-way player, which is something Houston Nutt talked about at the beginning of camp. Brassell got some defensive reps very early before focusing more on receiver.

He showed against BYU that he can get deep, but he hasn't made a big impact in either game.

I'm sure coaches wouldn't call the move of Johnson from middle linebacker to defensive end permanent, but it's clear they intend to use him in different ways.

So, good moves?

Leave your logic below.

Chris, I don't know anything specific on that. Maybe something's in the hopper. If he thinks it's a boost to recruiting I'd expect to see something.

I got off schedule with the late Thursday night. I'll get back in chat mode next week.

sounds like a plan to me. i think our coaches know what works best for the team and can move players to fit those needs.

PA, on another note since no QandA today; do you know anything about coach Nutt talking about different uniforms and how this subject came about?
