A 38-28 win at Fresno State was a much-needed victory for Ole Miss. What happens next? Can the Rebels build on their offensive success, become more physical on both lines and move forward?

The question of the day is does winning at Fresno State create momentum that will make a difference?

A. No. The open date comes at a bad time. The Rebels need a Saturday game after the road win.

B. Yes. It's good to let players heal, address areas of concern with an extra week and savor the positive feeling a little longer.

C. Momentum from the Fresno State game won't matter against Alabama.

D. Momentum from the Fresno State game will matter against Alabama.

Leave your logic below.

C. Alabama probably the best team in america.out side Oklahoma and FLORIDA State.. the NOLES keep in the hunt despite the major injuries that has hit them. THE TIDE have a major unstoppable weapon in TRENT Richardson and one of the best ol nexy to okla.

OLE Miss does have a chance against the TIDE. I believe in them IF THEY DONT GIVE UP. Coach Nutt has beaten them before and can do it again with this ole Miss group

C : The simple explanation is because history shows that Bama owns the Rebels, plus pure statistics from this year speak to that argument.

There really doesn't need to be any kind of long explanation as to why we will lose; if you simply have watched any games this year, then you could figure it out. We are young, have lack of depth and talent at key positions, and lately it has seemed that we are not very well coached. I know that the Rebels (and HDN)get up for a big game or two per year but it has never been against Bama; I would expect it to be against LSU (like the past number of years).

Thanks Chris. I thought the first one went well. We plan to increase the frequency soon. Next one should be early next week.

C. I dont think a close victory against fresno state will matter against alabama. we were down to fresno the majority of the game and finally started clicking some later in the game after fresno ran out of depth. alabama could beat us with their second string. it seems like the only thing ole miss has to brag about is "we are getting better" while the alabama's and lsu's are bragging about national championship contention. we are at the bottom of the sec. to me the whole mindset of ole miss is off track. instead of striving for perfection, we strive for 4 wins and statistics at the bottom of the sec for the past 10 years, with no indication of change.
