I'm going to stir the pot a little and say we WIN all 4 of these games and only lose one non-conference game (Texas). As for the offensive line, they are the most important players on the team. If a qb can't get time to move the ball from the center to the rec/back then there is no way any qb can be successful at any school. We got beat on the corners more than anything last year, specifically the left side tackle position. I think a young group that has worked all summer and won the nation in effort, can, and will, win enough games to reach a bowl, albeit a smaller venue. What remains to be seen is whether these boys won the nation in effort all summer. I think Coach Freeze knew coming into this, that had to be the goal. He said, time was the only thing equal about our team and any other. Who made the best use of their time? Question to be answered Saturday, September 1. Stay tuned!

as bad as ole miss is currently, i will never say we can't beat State. I think we are at the bottom and cannot go further down. only time will tell if freeze is the right man for the job, but my job is to trust and support he is. i predict we win 5 or hopefully 6 games this year. this past season was the only season that i knew that i knew ole miss would not beat State. there was something very evident that ole miss gave up last year. what i like about freeze is the fact that his goal is to have our player PLAY for the entire game. back to the question... i think we break the streak on B. Oct. 13 Auburn.

My thought is that Ole miss will float along as they have been in the last fifty years, or so, until they start tapping into and bring that wealth of home grown talent on board. They seem to want to pick up those migratory players who have been dumped or passed over by other teams or those with questionable character and academic standards. Thereby wasting the coaching staff time and effort in trying to make football players out of them. Its not working, but a failure.

You've got to hope for A&M to give the team confidence, so that's my guess.

After looking at the schedule it really don't look to favorable for that SEC losing streak to end this season. My guess is if does it will be either Vandy or Miss State, possible Auburn. Don't know any thing about A&M, but an upset could occur here, I doubt it. So I will stick with Vandy and/or Miss State, or both. After all these many, many years that I have been a Rebel, it is hard to believe what has happen to them. They are not the same Ole Miss Rebels that I once knew.

The streak hopefully will end sometime in the year 2013 after the rebel farce gets the all-time sec losses record!

I say Nov 10 is when the streak ends followed by a victory over the pouting puppies on Nov. 24.
