Before the Rebels turn their attention to Vanderbilt, they have a final non-conference game tomorrow at Arkansas State, which is never an easy place for the Rebels to play.

Arkansas State dropped two games at home to Florida International this week to fall into second place in the Sun Belt standings. The Red Wolves are 28-21 overall. Ole Miss defeated A-State 8-1 on Feb. 21, the first game at Swazye Field this season.

Speaking of Vanderbilt, pitching was very good for the Commodores in winning two of three this weekend at LSU. Timely hitting was there too, especially on Sunday when Vandy rallied in the ninth to deal LSU closer Nick Goody his first blown save of the season. Vandy has won its last three series.
