From Tuscaloosa, Alabama coach Nick Saban doesn't care what interests readers and lets his local media know that his Monday presser. Questions about the Heisman Trophy and SEC expansion sent him over the edge. He later apologized.  ...

Here's the New York Times report on Missouri that was the impetus for Saban's distraction. The Times reports that for Missouri, the process of withdrawing from the Big 12 could begin as soon as Thursday of this week. A source tells the paper that Missouri expects "no problem" in receiving enough votes from SEC presidents to join the SEC. ...

Things don't look good for the Rebels. With arky averaging 38 poins per game, Don't think that will change in Saturday's game, so before the game even start Ole Miss is looking at a 541/2 point disadvantage. Perhaps a forfeit would be more suitable.

Amos 5: 18.Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD!!!to what end is it for you?? The day of the Lord is darkness, and not light. 19. As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him: or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him

JB, as with most games right now, the disadvantages for Ole Miss outnumber the advantages.

Arkansas has scored at least 38 points this season on every opponent except Alabama. I figure Ole Miss will have a hard time holding down the Arkansas points. Ole Miss gives up a lot of big plays, Arkansas produces a lot of big plays.

Arkansas has been weak in its run defense. If Brandon Bolden is into the game both physically and mentally, Ole Miss has a chance to run the ball and control the clock. If the Rebels can run the ball maybe they can get tight end Jamal Mosley involved more in the play-action passing game.
