Inside Ole Miss Sports is moving to Wordpress. Commenting will require a login through Facebook, Twitter or other social media. Join us here at the new blog site. This site will remain active for access to previous posts, but when I post this afternoon following the Hugh Freeze press conference I will post to the new site. Thanks.

PA, there is no link to Wordpress anywhere on the DJ page.

I'm sorry PA, but this is a heartbreaking move, for us sports fans who rely on the internet, and not print papers. It's bad enough that Jackson, MS (online) and Memphis (online) charge customers to read their pages. Now the reliable Parrish Alford has moved to something that just puts us old fans out of touch. I understand the move, but newer is not better.

Bad move...those of us who come on here using work/school computers won't be able to do so through social media sites...filters. Plus, PA, can you do something about all these videos that automatically load when we visit the DJ page. Really, really slows down my ability to navigate your site. As a matter of fact, my viewership has probably dropped 75% since these devils have been included. I know that it is probably a source of revenue for the DJ, but it has driven me away from this site.

PA,

Will miss being able to post here, even tho I did very little of it, largely because the juvenile sniping had become too prevalent. I'm glad you're moving to require some accountability. I don't do social media, though, in part because it's not my cup of tea, and partly due to lack of time for all that. You do a great job!

I think this a good move to limit the juvenile stuff which on ocsasion shows up. The only problem is all my grandchildren are 100 miles or more away & I can't figure how to sign up to comment on the new sitel

I think a lot of things will work better. Let us have your feedback when we get going.
