The Rebels are back on the practice field this morning at 9:45. I'll have notes and video on the blog soon after.

The theme coming out of Monday's second practice was "competitive," and that's good news for the offense, which has been able to string some good workouts together.

It appears the offense is getting better, which was what you hope for in camp with a rebuilding team.

That improvement, of course, begins with the offensive line.

Still a long way to go on that side of the ball, but there has been some progress.

The quest to replace Collins Moore at the inside receiver spot continues, and Korvic Neat is hopeful he'll be the guy.

GTHLSU, I think this unit could perform better as a group. There has been some improvement in camp, but there's a long way to go. Last year's line, though more experienced, struggled with assignments in the system. Four games into the season you're hearing the OC say "simplify, simplify, simplify." Shouldn't be that way. Then the last three games were nothing but total distraction.

Blackbears (blakbar) noun definately informal.

a hairy stinking animal that forages mainly on mostly berries, grasses and insest. They are shy and easily frightened.

PA, do you think this years OL will be an improvement over 2011? I know that is just asking for a guess.

2 players from last years line are in the NFL now, but they obviously performed poorly as a group.

Cootie-- loves to repeat stupid comments over and over, has vision that other people care, lost soul. Vegas has a cootie 10 to 1 odds as a person that fell off back of garbage truck and hit head , now on disability with nothing to do but comment on ole miss article with total obssesion.

The Wilderness is swallowing Bucky Beaver and his men in tights. Vegas has 7 ot 2 odds on the blackbears going o fer the SEC and 10 to 1going winless overall. I ain't betting either way, but do find it interesting. Vegas usually gets it right.
