When you meet with your current players and call the school that is pursuing you the "Notre Dame" of college basketball, I'm thinking that coach wants to be a part of Notre Dame. Memphis AD R.C. Johnson says the school will do everything in its power to keep its coach, but I'd say Kentucky has the financial thoroughbreds to win that race.

I agree. Pitno-Calipari already hate each other, put them in the same state and you've got yourself the making of a Heavyweight Bout worth Pay Per Viewing. Not sure if this will keep Pitno put at Louisville, but I'd like to see it.

Matt, I like the idea of the Calipari-Pitino rivalry. There will be a lot of two-way antagonism in that deal. Fun to watch as a neutral observer.

That will work out great for me. I can start not hating Memphis and it will make my relationship with my wife and her family much better. It will also inspire my hatred towards the Cats that will be easy to transition from one Blue-balled bunch to another.

Hard for a school like Memphis to compete with a basketball power as Kentucky. Kentucky has no problem with recruitment on a national scale. They do draw some of the best. Duke another one that has good attraction for the best players.

Ole Miss is to be applauded for the very good sports programs that they are assembling. Basketball should be a top contender next season. Coach Kennedy has done a marvelous job.

Baseball very competitive, Rebs just coming off a good experience, as I see it, against the #2 team in the nation. I think that we will hear much more from the Ole Miss baseball team before this season is closed out. Coach Bianco and staff one of the greatest.

Football: Ole Miss has one of the best football coaching staff in college football. I think that we Rebel fans will be very pleased and excited at what we will see of them next season.

GO REBELS!!!!!

Jimmy, looks like Calipari to Kentucky is going to happen, if reports are correct.

College coaching is a nasty business. Dog eat dog!!!! I guess its who's got the biggest bank roll and national clout that brings the best of coaches onboard to these high profile schools .
