A few Monday morning links of interest ...

Late Sunday evening the SEC sent out a news release officially welcoming Texas A&M to the conference, a likely sign that Baylor's threat of litigation had passed. As life support is removed from the Big 12 there's still a question as to whether Missouri will remain in that league or become the team that removes the SEC from the awkward 13 number.

Any major school's relocation brings with it some soul-searching, and the Kansas City Star wonders how Missouri in the SEC might affect the city. ...

As Ole Miss prepares to head west, Fresno State is coming off a big win over Idaho in which it turned in a strong defensive performance against a team known for offense.

Ole Miss scored 55 points against Fresno in Oxford last year, but Brandon Bolden was healthy then. Now he isn't.

During his weekly teleconference Sunday, Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt said, "Brandon's not himself. Y'all know that. He's not 100 percent. He can't hit the hole and cut like he wants to. It's not the same Brandon. It's very obvious to see, very difficult. He's trying to give us everything he has, but it's difficult when you're not at full speed, especially at tailback.”

On the injury front, life hasn't been so good for Fresno either.

turfguy, please contact Olemisssports.com and tell them their website is wrong. They have us beating Vandy 23-7 on Oct. 9, 2009.

I'm sure you'll come back with "I meant SEC West road game." We only played two West road games that year though. Still made it to the Cotton Bowl and won though. While you enlighten us on history, please answer this. Where was your team playing that post-season?

Hey everybody! Check this out!

The last time the rebel bears beat a SEC west team was November 21, 2009 vs LSU in Oxfart 25-23.

The last time the Ole bears won a SEC road game was in Baton Rouge, November 22, 2008.

That's almost 3 years since winning a SEC road game. WOW! Bet alot of you didn't know these amazing facts.

Nutt should know what it's like, not being a full speed. He hasn't been at full speed in a couple of seasons.
