Here's an update from the Durham, N.C., Herald-Sun on Matt Luke. And the Ole Miss release on the hire as well here.

Matt Luke has long been rumored to be coming back to Ole Miss as offensive line coach under Hugh Freeze.

It has not been announced yet, but looks like that will be the case.

Luke is currently the offensive line coach and run game coordinator at Duke for former Ole Miss coach David Cutcliffe.

Luke played at Ole Miss from 1995-1998 under Tommy Tuberville and was a student assistant under Cutcliffe.

There's been a lot of buzz that Duke defensive backs coach Derek Jones would also join that staff. That remains possible, but he doesn't appear to be as solid as Luke. Jones played at Ole Miss from 1993-1996, a span that included Billy Brewer's final season, Joe Lee Dunn's interim season, and Tuberville's first two seasons.
