(Do you envision SEC teams recruiting Texas more with Texas A&M coming into the league?)

“I think so. We've always recruited Texas. I think now with the TV exposure there, the Texas team, it's a natural thing to go back in there a little bit more.”

(Why did you wear the ball cap against Georgia? Was that the first time?)

“That was the second 11:30 game in a row. The sun is right on top of us when you're playing that game. I had to keep the sun off me. You better keep that sun off your forehead. I have the same skin dealings as my dad. That's why I wear the straw hat in two-a-days. Can't wear the straw hat with a headset so I had to wear the cap.”

(What is keeping Kentrell Lockett from being more productive right now?)

“He's getting better. When you have four surgeries and the last one very major, it's hard to come back from. It's tough. There's a lot of work to get your total strength back, your quickness and suddenness, but he's worked extremely hard. It's just very difficult. I think he's getting better, and I think he'll get more plays. I know this about Kentrell, he has tremendous experience and tremendous want-to. I just think he'll be there.”

(On the 2012 schedule with the addition of Texas A&M)

“I haven't given that much thought to it. Right now I'm just concentrating on what I can control, trying to get our team ready. It's just hard to think about that right now, because you're so into the season. I have a lot of confidence in Commissioner Slive and the group. They'll handle it and get it the best way.”
