Ole Miss has lost nine straight SEC games and 11 of its last 12 inside the league dating back to the 2009 regular season finale at Mississippi State.

Coming off a 52-7 loss to No. 2 Alabama, how do you assess the Rebels' chances for an SEC win this season?

Will Ole Miss get an SEC win ...

A. This week at home against Arkansas.

B. Oct. 29 at Auburn.

C. Nov. 5 at Kentucky.

D. Nov. 19 at home against LSU.

E. Nov. 26 at MSU.

F. None of the above.

I'd bet we get ONE SEC win, but I would bet against us getting 2. Rebels will be underdogs in each game.

Hopefully no more injuries. We must have been affected more by injuries than an other SEC school. We lost our best defensive player in the spring, then lose the best remaining defensive player for the rest of the year.

PA have you put together a list of our injuries?

Rebelrt, I hate to be the doom and gloom guy, but it's hard for me to see Kentucky and MSU as safe bets for wins, especially with the loss of two defensive starters. Dorsey was already the most consistent player on a defensive line that's struggling to stop the run.

Kentucky's pretty bad, and maybe that changes. But both of those games are on the road. Kentucky will see that as its chance for an SEC win, and State will want to win the game regardless of time, place and circumstance, though the Bulldogs could be playing for a sixth win and bowl-eligibility at that point.

Houston Nutt is an idiot. Friday before the Bama game, he actually said that he is more interested in building character instead of statues. He was refering of course, to the statue that Bama put up for Nick Saban. So Saban played with the rebs like a cat playing with a soon to be dead mouse. Then, when he got bored he laid the wood to us. Stupid, Stupid, Stupid.

rebelrt, dude! C'mon man, did you not see Nutt's face at the end of the game? As Glenn Frey wrote, "I'm already gone". As for MState's expectations, yes they were high. Very similar to our Johnny Rebs opening the season ranked #4 and ending up in the toiet. At least MState will make a bowl trip, which appears is a very long way off for The Red and Blue, unless we get Boone, Nutt and all the other carpetbaggers out of Otown.

Turfguy,

This years Egg Bowl is going to be a "who's the worst in the SEC West" kind of game. Who knows which team will be taking the knee. I sure don't because they both suck pretty bad this year. At least UM's expectations weren't to high going into the season.

On the question by PA.....I say c and e are safe bets on wins for Ole Miss. Hopefully LSU will not beat them up to bad going into the only bowl they'll see this year without some sort of miracle.

VaReb I am with you to an extent but one exception, This Ole Miss Rebel is not the ole Miss Rebels that I once knew and supported. I really don't think that they will win any more games this season. When they did away with

COL REB that started my serious thinkin about them, then when the established the Black BEar as mascot and named it Rebel was the last for me. i find myself in agreement with turfguy and Forard rebel.

VAReb, you are a bedlamite. "Arky and Auby are both beatable"? Let us consider the following.....

Rebel blackbears rank 114th in pass O and 99th in rushing O. Defensive ranks are 44th against the pass and 80th against the run. Auby ranks 17th in rushing O and Akansas ranks 27th in passing O. The Johnny Nutts have no chance of beating Auby or Arky. Kentucky maybe, but a loss to La Tech is probable and more than likely we will see Tyler Russell taking a knee at the end of the EGG BOWL.

Can't pick against my Rebs but realistically after the injuries this weekend maybe Kentucky and MSU. It all depends on how the players react after the beatdown this weekend. Arkansas and Auburn are both beatable.....
