Ole Miss players say they've been underdogs before. The fact that they're not expected to beat Alabama doesn't surprise them, nor, they say, does the fact that so few people expect them to even make it close. From the mother ship, Underdog Rebels.

Also, Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt has a reputation for rallying his players to play above their heads in big games. Nutt, though, says he doesn't promote an "us against the world" mentality, he just tries to be honest with his team. Ole Miss Notebook

JB,

I'm gonna stand up with you guys. I think now is when Nutt makes his move if he has one. You add in a bunch of hungry hippos along the line, a fresh Mary, everyone is a lil healthier, and the cooker has been lower since the Fresno win. I think it will be tough to hold em' but "they aint superman."

all summer we read here WHY ole miss will be better in 2011 - ARE THEY a better team than last season??? no SEC wins as yet!!!but I'll bet my old aged pension check that you will not see a Rebel win predicted here on this blog on Thursday with the exception of VA reb, Bornarebel and JB. they stand comitted to their team, come HELL OR HIGH WATERS!!!!!!

I believe these young REbs will hang in and do their best. Bama is the team thats on the HOT SPOT NOT THE REBS.

GO REBELS!!

Bama-45

Ole Miss is just that bad and Bama is just that good. Our only hope is that Nick has mercy on us and pulls his starters after the first quater.
