Highlights from Houston Nutt's time on the SEC teleconference. ...

What positives were you able to take from the Arkansas game?

“The positive dose of medicine we need is a win. I was proud of them. We lost some valuable starters, and we have young players having to play a lot of football that most years would be on the scout team. If you'd have told me we were going to hold Tyler Wilson without a touchdown pass I'd say we were probably going to win. We've got to do a better job against the run,b ut we have some guys really stepping up. I appreciate guys like D.T. Shackelford, Wayne Dorsey and Marcus Temple, guys who can't play but are on the sidelines on crutches cheering and coaching. They've been real positive for us, and our guys are playing hard.”

What do you see in Auburn quarterback Clint Moseley?

“He has a really good arm. He throws the ball extremely well. It's always tough to judge when you go against a team like LSU. We feel like he is a good quarterback who has accuracy and can throw the ball around. He's quick and can get out of trouble. He's a little quicker than we anticipated, and we'll have to do a good job against him.”

Churn, I always enjoy your comments and typically agree with you; however, your thoughts on Oklahoma couldn't be more untrue. Alabama and LSU are on completely different levels than anyone else in college football this year. I feel that Alabama has the advantage (over LSU) purely on coaching.

"Lost some valuable starters", don't feel too bad for your self Mr nutt. So did Florida State in early part of this season which cost the national rankins. Coach Fisher and the noles played on and lost three straigth game. Now back on the winnin road again, or at least I hope so. They relied on freshmen as ole miss had to do. They almost beat the No 1 team SOONERS. Sooners i believe is a better team than Lsu or Bama, even with one loss. Clemson could emerge as no 1 before season is complete.

THAT GHOST SHIP out there could be putting the jink on the U of Miss.
