Away games of note: DePaul in the SEC-Big East Challenge Dec. 1, Penn State Dec. 4, Southern Miss, Dec. 17, Dayton Dec. 30.

The Rebels will take part in the Paradise Jam in the Virginia Islands Nov. 18-21. First-round matchup is against Drake. Other names of notes include Marquette and Virginia.

There's also a Dec. 21 neutral site game in Southaven against Middle Tennessee.

Earlier today the SEC released its men's basketball schedule for 2011-2012. The Rebels open at LSU on Jan. 7, close at home against Alabama on March 3. Both are SEC Network TV games.

The Rebels are at home against Mississippi State on Wednesday, Jan. 18, an 8 p.m. CSS game. Ole Miss is in Starkville on Thursday, Feb. 9, a 6 p.m. start on ESPN or ESPN2.

The Rebels have two of their last three at home, a trip to Arkansas coming between Tad Smith games against LSU and Alabama.
