If you are a fan of night football, and many people are, there is good news.

The Rebels' first three kickoffs will be under the lights, news released by the SEC this morning that helped soften the blow for those disappointed by an 11 a.m., kickoff for the Tulane game in New Orleans in Week 4.

Before Tulane, Ole Miss will have 6 p.m., kicks against Central Arkansas and UTEP and an 8:15 start against Texas.

The UCA game will be a pay-per-view event. The UTEP game will be televised by Fox Sports Net, and the Texas game will air on ESPN.

6 PM is in the afternoon, but I think one of the better game times. It works well with the Grove experience. I think the later the game, the better chance for getting the crowd in the stadium and involved. Hotty Toddy!

Just looked at the schedule. 8 straight SEC games, but at least Vandy and MS state are at home.
