Not much news on the Sunday conference call with Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt. He did mention that MRI's have been performed on LB Jonathan Cornell (hip), SS Damien Jackson (knee). Jackson was injured against Arkansas and did not play last night against Auburn. Immeidatlely following the Arkansas game, Nutt was hopeful of having Jackson back for Auburn, but Jackson's progress has been slow.

In addition to those two, DE Gerald Rivers has a swollen ankle. He tried to play on it some last night, but wasn't the same player, Nutt said.

The Rebels are at home this week at 6 p.m. with La.-Lafayette.

It don't appear the casualty list too sever from their battle with the War Eagles yesterday.

La.-Lafayette, I gota pull for Lafayette in a way,out loyalty, since my home was and I still call Tula my home, Lafayette County,Tula, Mississippi, but will give Ole Miss the edge here.

Powe and company need no change in the defense arrangements or alignments against the Ragin Cajun, but they had better cheer over their beer on this win because

it will probably be the last one for them this season. They could possible beat the Vols, But it is doubtful,LSU and Miss State - no.
