Also on this Monday morning, the Forward Rebels group is back with another full-page ad, this one headlined, "How much money is Pete Boone costing Ole Miss? ... Find out soon."

The ad calls the "running tab" of lost donations a "travesty."

The school is in the midst of a $150 million capital campaign and has released updates of its fund-raising success, the most recent having the campaign above $40 million.

The ad says, "Pete Boone and Co. are happy to ride inflaction, increased student enrollment and new ticket taxes as successful fund-raising. We disagree."

It also asks the question, "Are you not giving or giving less because of Boone?" and encourages people to share their stories. It guarantees confidentiality for those who submit stories.

I have enjoyed the day. I must close it down now. I am having a catheter ablation in the morning to solve an arrythmia problem in my heart, but turfguy will return in a matter of a day or two. I really enjoy leaving comments. I don't know why, but it always makes me laugh. It is never personal, just having fun.

go to forwardrebels.org It is in a cell off to the right side of page. He comes across very clear and I believe there are other former Rebs in the NFL that feel the same. Haven't you noticed if they're on tv, they give their high school name or make something else up. Peria Jerry said he was from the university of South Panola.

I had not heard about the blackout Boone deal. That is awesome! I hope that there will be 100% participation and that the TV crew will mention what it represents. That would pucker up the backsides of alot of people.

It should start with Joe Panunzio. Get him away from Saban and he can turn this around. Pay him whatever it takes. I believe he is the key.

PA, Have you read the letter from Romaro this morning? I read it and it really hit the nail on the head.I hope the administration pulls together and fires Pete BOO-NE and gets someone to make a really good hire because Nutt is gone. I really liked Nutt but he's put in his time at OLE MISS. Time to go. They are calling for a black out boone day saturday against the hogs. Asking everyone to wear black to the game. I think thats the best thing to do. You want to be there and show support to the players but you also want to get the attention of the administration too.

The football team is the worst it has ever been. Alabama wins 52 to 7 and they don't leap over LSU for the #1 spot? That shows how low the team is. If Alabama had beaten any other SEC team, they would have jumped into the #1 ranking. I just want to pull them out of their fluffy chairs and give them a swift kick in their $1,000.00 suits. Take the coaching staff and make them ride a train out of town covered in tar and feathers.
