Second-baseman Alex Yarbrough made the All-SEC first team. He pursued the .400 mark all season long and heads to the NCAA tournament hitting .389.

First baseman Matt Snyder (.333, 12 HR, 57 RBI, 126 TB) made the second team and right-handed pitcher Bobby Wahl (6-3, 2.26 ERA, Opp BA .211) also made the second team.

Yarbrough also made the all-defensive team. He made just two errors in 256 chances.

I agree with Yarborough's selection but I was highly disappointed in the support that Nolan Fontanta and Casey Turgeon got. Preston Tucker and Mike Ninino outstanding. BObby Wahl deserving. The Rebels willneed his strong pitching, and a lots more, win the battle of the ALamo, to get out of Texas and on to Omaha. I beleive Ole Miss was a national 8 seed once and never won their own Regional.
