Reports out of Tulsa have Oklahoma and Oklahoma State leaning toward a move to the PAC-12 even after Texas officials have urged OU to stay put and save the Big 12.

Also in Oklahoma, former OU coach Barry Switzer has advice for the Sooners and Cowboys. "Hitch your wagons to Texas." ...

Closer to home, SEC commissioner Mike Slive remains optimistic that Texas A&M will navigate the legal challenges and will be part of the SEC next year. Slive says the SEC has no "immediate plans" to add a 14th team.

CBS blogger Gary Parrish says you should believe SEC statements "at your own risk." Just last week Ole Miss chancellor Dan Jones told me, "Everyone recognizes that an uneven number of schools presents some awkwardness and challenges. Because of that there may be conversations about a 14th school." Jones went on to say there are no "concrete" plans at this time. If there are discussions in an infancy stage it won't take them long to mature. ...
