Ole Miss offensive coordinator David Lee had high praise for the Alabama defense Tuesday evening, citing the vast playbook and the quality of athletes running those plays.

Lee called the Crimson Tide "tomorrow's NFL players."

He went on to say he did believe that the Rebels showed some improvement against Fresno and that they've gotten better on the offensive line. When Jeff Scott rushes for more than 100 yards, it's about blocking, Lee said, not about the 175-pound Scott breaking tackles.

Lee discussed the two weeks to prepare for Alabama and expressed concern that the staff might have given the players too much to digest. He was concerned about offensive players looking a little slow in Tuesday's work and talked about possibly simplifying things, cutting back on some plays, schemes, in today's practice.

Brewer, I've not heard anything that would lead me to believe there was a rift on offense like that.

When Jason Campbell was at Auburn, he had a new offensive coordinator each year and somehow they managed to succeed. Being nice to Nick Saban won't make him take it easy on saturday. Bama has to win big and hope that LSU might struggle. LSU and BAMA will both be out to see who can beat their oppenent worse. It could get ugly.

Is anyone else tired of Lee constantly saying he has to simplify the offense? My wife attended WVU for undergrad and I follow the Mountaineers as well. They’ve had no trouble adjusting to Holgorsen’s offense, I think they are 4th in the NCAA in scoring.

PA, is there an issue with the other coaches not being on board with this offense or not teaching it well?

Thanks for the great work you do.
