Speaking of Freeze, he seemed genuinely disappointed in the the lack of offensive production in Tuesday's practice.
While Freeze is the head coach, he's also the coach for offense, hired to implement and run his system. So while he's responsible for the well-being of the entire team, he takes it personal if the offense is out-played in daily work.
"Our tempo at the end was decent. We just don't know enough right now to do enough stuff in that. I was disappointed that we didn't compete harder, but the defense's emotion and energy today matched the offense's from last Thursday. It's kind of gone back and forth. You expect that, but you expect the other side to compete better than we did today," he said.
Freeze went on to praise his defense and say that he's spending more time in their meeting rooms too.
