OXFORD – Ole Miss freshman guard Derrick Millinghaus will be available for the Rebels’ Saturday game at Tennessee, their first on the road.

Millinghaus appeared in three games, starting one, before sustaining a slight meniscus tear that required surgery.

Before the injury he settled in quickly to the back-up point guard position, and his presence offers Ole Miss coach Andy Kennedy the chance to use a different style of player at the position. Millinghaus plays at a much faster tempo than starter Jarvus Summers.

In his last game Millinghaus came off the bench to score 19 points in 25 minutes, going 5-for-11 from the floor and 9-for-11 from the free throw line.

In his absence sophomore LaDarius White has been the back-up point guard. White had 13 points against Rutgers and was called the game’s MVP by Kennedy.

Ole Miss is off to a 6-0 start.
