TUPELO - Earline P. Cayson, 77, died Sunday, May 13, 2012, at the Tupelo Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born Feb. 13, 1935, to Leotis Patton and Annie Mae Mathis Patton. At an early age she joined Camp Creek M.B. Church in Guntown. She later moved her membership to Poplar CME Church in Saltillo. Known for her love of cooking, she worked several years at Doni Grill and Texaco (Breeze Inn) in Tupelo.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Poplar CME Church in Saltillo with the Rev. Rickey Patton officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery in Guntown. Agnew amp& Sons Funeral Home of Verona is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include one daughter, Lola Cayson of Verona; two sisters, Virginia Patton and Betty Woods, both of Toledo, Ohio; two brothers, Jimmy (Justine) Patton and Odell Patton of Toledo, Ohio; granddaughter, Kimberly (Jarrad) Isby; great-granddaughter, Nakiya Cayson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jeffrey Lee Cayson; one daughter; Brenda Cayson; one grandaughter, Traci Cayson; and two sisters and one brother.

PASADENA, Calif. - David Bradley Ball, 48, died Saturday, May 5, 2012, in Pasadena, Calif. A native of Ecru, he was the son of H.C. and Ozell Ball. He was a member of Ecru Second Baptist Church.

TREMONT - William Hutson, 77, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012. He was born Oct. 1, 1934, to Argie and Mary Cleo Kerr Hutson in Itawamba County. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and hunting. He served in the U.S. Army and worked for many years at Big B Metal in Tremont.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Senter Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Jackie Gray and Tim Harris officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Methodist Cemetery. Senter Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include sisters, Cindy Hutson of Tremont, Sherry Richardson of Red Bay, Ala., Nancy Wilson (Ottis) of Fulton; brothers, Willis Hutson, Wendell Hutson (Sandie) and Jack Hutson (Debbie), all of Tremont; his longtime companion, Bobby Jean Mauldin; seven nephews and five nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Sarah Duvall and Mary Duvall; brothers, Wayne Hutson and William Hutson; brothers-in-law, Robert Richardson, Bud Duvall and Joe Duvall.

FULTON - Earlie Mae Hollis, 71, died Saturday, May 12, 2012, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was a native of Smithville and a member of New Chapel CME Church. She loved to sing and listen to gospel music.

She is survived by one son, Eddie O'Neal Hollis of Fulton; one sister, Effie Mae Stegall of Fulton; and two brothers, James (Betty) Hollis of Verona and Earnest (Dorothy) Hollis of Cleveland, Ohio.

TUPELO - Minister Detra Fay Scott, 43, died Sunday, May 13, 2012, at North Mississippi Medical Center after a long illness. She was born Aug. 31, 1968, to George and Fannie Mae Scott. She attended Shannon High School. She was ordained as a minister on March 25, 2011, with the Mississippi Breakthrough Restoration Intenational Ministries. A loving daughter, sister and friend and a great speaker, she enjoyed singing, cooking, traveling, visting various churches, missionary work, writing poems and serving people at a time of need.
Her life celebration service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Davis Temple with Pastor Olando Pannell officiating. Burial will follow in the Chapel Grove Cemetery. Grayson-Porter's Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survided by her father, George W. Scott of Tupelo; four brothers, Lawrence W. Scott of Memphis, Wesley P. Scott of Biringham, Ala., Jerel D. Scott of Mooreville and Darain D. Scott of Tupelo; five uncles, nine aunts, four nieces and one nephew; a special cousin reared as a sister, Denise Jeans of Mooreville; and host of great-aunts and great-uncles.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Fannie Mae Scott.
Viewing will begin at 4 p.m. today at J.W. Porter's Chapel, with family and friends hour from 6 until 7 p.m. The body will be placed in the church at noon Saturday.

AMORY - Wayne Shelton Williamson, 67, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at North Mississippi Medical Center after an extended illness. He was born in Choccolocco, Ala., on Oct. 25, 1944, to Shelton Millard and Florence Arrilla Cobb Williamson. He graduated from Jacksonville High School in Jacksonville, Ala., in 1963 and attended Jacksonville State University until he was drafted into the Army. He was a United States Army veteran. He was a member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Fayette, Ala. He retired after many years of service as a store manager for Winn Dixie, Quality Foods and Piggly Wiggly. He was an avid Parrothead, fisherman and golfer.
Stateroom services with military honors will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at W.E. Pegues Funeral Home in Tupelo.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Susan Arlisa Pound Williamson; his children, Kahrensa amp"Kokoamp" King (Chris) of Guntown and Mike Williamson (Clarissa) of Becker; eight grandchildren, Hunter and Colton King, Lakin, Erin, Coby, Mason, Alex and Addy Williamson; his mother, Florence C. Williamson of Anniston, Ala.; one sister, Jane Williamson of Estill Springs, Tenn.; a host of nieces, nephews and great-nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, 1st Lt. James Calvin Williamson, during the Vietnam conflict.

ASHLAND - Bernice Anderson, 46, died Monday, May 14, 2012, in Ashland. She was born Dec. 7, 1965, in Memphis to Annie Hoyle and Herbert Anderson. She was a loving and devoted mother to her four children. She accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of St. James Church of God in Christ and remained a member until her death. She will be dearly missed.

BALDWYN - Diane Anderson Hadaway, 63, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at North Mississippi Medical Center. She was a pianist, a homemaker and a Baptist. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and traveling, and loved being a mother, grandmother and friend. She especially loved her pets.

PONTOTOC - Steven Durwood Young, 48, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012, in Pontotoc. He was a member of West Heights Baptist Church. He was a 1981 graduate of Pontotoc High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in public administration from the University of Mississippi in 1985, where he was a member of Beta Lambda Epsilon, the Weight Lifting Club and the Rugby Club. He graduated from the Mississippi Law Enforcement Training Academy in 1987 and worked with the Pontotoc Police Department for 23 years, serving as a D.A.R.E. officer and a captain.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Dr. David Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow in the West Heights Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.
