The Mississippi State tight ends coach will be coaching the same position at Florida State, according to Noles247.com. The site also reported that Brewster will serve as recruiting coordinator.
Brewster was hired by MSU in August to coach receivers after Angelo Mirando resigned in the wake of an NCAA investigation into his recruiting tactics.
On Feb. 13, Brewster was moved to tight ends coach after Billy Gonzales was hired to coach receivers, and he was also given the
title of assistant head coach.
This is the third assistant coach to leave MSU since the end of the 2012 season.
Defensive coordinator Chris Wilson went to Georgia, and cornerbacks coach Melvin Smith left for Auburn.
MSU head coach Dan Mullen did not respond to a request for comment.
