We've got a new feature at the Scene Now blog.
Keymo Coleman will be writing movie reviews for us.
I told Keymo he could probably tell y'all about himself better than I could tell y'all about him, so here's his autobiography....
Keymo Coleman is a 19-year-old radio/tv broadcasting student at Itawamba Community College in Fulton and graduate of Saltillo High School.
He is the Phi Theta Kappa Vice President of Fellowship and PTK's unofficial Vice President of Goofy. (Honestly, he once thought that PTK was a role-playing club that stood for Pirates, Thanes and Knights. Now he knows better.) He is a member of the school newspaper and a volunteer with Big Brothers/ Big Sisters.
He comes from a small community called Red Hill. It is basically a country town that one would by-pass with one acceleration thrust of their Chevy Capris.
Keymo urges everyone to try and not take themselves seriously and just simply have fun. That is why in his spare time, Keymo likes to do stand-up comedy (no boos yet!). He likes to read (yes, people!) and play basketball (not able to dunk yet – the latter is because steroids are not appealing).
He also has a very high profile job as the shift leader at the local Blockbuster Video, which takes 30 hours of his time a week. The money and the enjoyment of a kid getting to see "The Jonas Brothers: Live 3D Concert" or "Hannah Montana the Movie" is worth it though. Says Keymo, "I get an Oprah paycheck and work with Nick, Joe, Miley, and that other one!! Nanny nanny booboo!!"
He believes that Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, and Ke$ha are in fact signs of the Apocalypse. His perfect woman is Flo, the Progressive girl. He also believes in the power of self-determination – that is how he has constantly maintained his Herculean torso and thighs (voted number one in the Southeasten region two years straight).
Keymo is known to randomly sing and dance in front of strangers, so do not be alarmed if you are witnessing what's been called "a black guy having a seizure." Also, he wonders why Little Debbie has never grown up after all these years and why Aunt Jemima and Mrs. Buttersworth don’t just listen to "Why Can’t We Be Friends" and end their feud over Uncle Ben (it’s not like no one knows that Betty Crocker and Ben have a secret relationship!).
On a serious note, Keymo urges everyone to prepare for the return of Tupac Shakur and Biggie. Says Keymo, “It’s nothing but a media sham!”
Peace, love, and hair grease!!!!!!
