‘Breaking Dawn Part 2’ almost sold out for opening night

If you want to see ONLY “Breaking Dawn Part 2” on Thursday night in Tupelo, you’re out of luck. The final movie in the “Twilight” saga opens early Thursday night at 10 p.m., but all six of those screenings of just the final film are sold out at Cinemark Movies 8 in Tupelo. HOWEVER –.. read more →

Jamey Johnson show canceled

The upcoming Jamey Johnson concert scheduled for Black Friday at the BancorpSouth Arena has been canceled. Tickets were supposed to go on sale tomorrow. Instead of the concert, the arena is now offering public ice skating on that date. read more →

Yesterday the Internet basically exploded with the news that Disney has purchased Lucasfilm, and a seventh “Star Wars” film is scheduled to hit theaters in ’15.
