STARKVILLE – Rain delayed the start of Mississippi State’s SEC baseball series with Alabama.
Friday’s game was postponed until today, and the teams will play a doubleheader at Dudy Noble Field starting at 1 p.m.
Senior left-hander Luis Pollorena (6-2, 3.42 ERA) is scheduled to start Game 1 for No. 22 MSU (33-13, 10-11 SEC), and Alabama (27-18, 11-9) will pitch sophomore righty Spencer Turnbull (4-1, 2.26).
Friday’s game was set for an ESPNU telecast, but neither of today’s games will be on TV. Sunday’s game, scheduled for 1:30 p.m., will be broadcast by CBS Sports Network.
