Amory senior Addie Forbus needed 12 goals entering Thursday’s match against North Pontotoc to break the state’s career scoring record.
She got seven in the first half of a 13-2 victory and is now has 222, just five short of the record.
Amory visits MSMS today and will be home on Saturday against Corinth.
Forbus had two goals in a 3-2 shootout-loss Monday against Pontotoc and now has 215 for her decorated career.
Forbus, an Ole Miss commit, is chasing the record held by Greene County’s Kelsey Cochran with 226.
