Baldwyn, Itawamba, Corinth in position to win golf titles today

Three more area teams are in position to win state high school golf championships today.
Class 4A: Itawamba AHS, the defending state champ, takes a commanding 30-stroke lead into today’s final round at Wedgewood Golf Club in Olive Branch.
The Indians, led by Chad Ramey’s 73, shot a 320 on Tuesday. Kosciusko (350) is second and New Albany (355) third. Ramey holds a four-stroke lead over Lewisburg’s Trey Wilkinson.
Class 3A: Corinth moves into today’s final round at Reunion GC in Madison with a five-stroke lead over St. Andrews.
Collin Burns shot a 79 to lead the Warriors, who had a 336 total.
Charles Goodwin (St. Andrews) and Taylor York (Choctaw Central) share the lead at 75, with Lindsey Reed (Ripley) third at 77 and Burns fourth.
Class 2A: Baldwyn (329) holds a big lead over Mize (347) heading into the final round at Natchez Trace GC in Saltillo.
Bruce’s T.J. Morgan (72) holds the individual lead, trailed by Tucker Jenkins (80) of Baldwyn and Noah Hill of Calhoun City.
