Blue Mountain runs well in season-opening races

ROME, Ga. – Blue Mountain College opened its cross country season on Saturday with strong showings in the Berry College Invitational.
The women’s team, led by Tuesday Rowland of Ripley, finished fifth out of 14 teams. Rowland ran 5K in 20:47.21.
Sophomore Austin Epting, from East Union, finished 14th (27:20.25 for 8K) in a field of 113 runners and led the men to a eighth-place finish.
