BMC golf places third at TSAC championship

CHAPEL HILL, Tenn. – Blue Mountain’s golf team finished third on Tuesday as the TranSouth Athletic Conference Championship wrapped up at Henry Horton State Park.
The Toppers finished with a three-round total of 928, 13 strokes behind champion Bethel. Martin Methodist was second, six strokes back.
“All four league teams are pretty equal, but we didn’t play as well as we can,” said coach Danny McKenzie.
BMC’s Adam Hall (74-74-76–224) finished second and Tanner Sparks (74-73-81–228) tied for third.
Shane Peden of Bethel (73-75-74–222) was the medalist. Hall was in the hunt until a double bogey on No. 17.
