Mississippi State softball standout Chelsea Bramlett was named first-team All-SEC for the third consecutive year, the league announced Wednesday.
The senior catcher from Cordova, Tenn., was also selected as a top-10 finalist for the USA Softball Player of the Year award. She’s been named first-team All-American three times, and a fourth selection is likely.
Bramlett, who batted .536 this past season with 61 stolen bases this season, is the third Lady Bulldog to make the All-SEC team four times. She was a second-team pick as a freshman.
Ole Miss senior Lauren Grill earned second-team honors, making her the first Lady Rebel to make All-SEC three times. MSU outfielder Jessica Cooley was named Freshman All-SEC.
