The Bruce Trojans evened up their series Class 2A North series with the Hamilton Friday night by beating the Lions 10-0 in Bruce.
The decisive Game 3 is set for today at 2 p.m. in Hamilton.
Senior Caleb Hanley (9-3) picked up the win for the Trojans, allowing seven hits over six innings for his second complete game in less than a week. Austin Earnest suffered the loss for the Lions.
Jay King, Chase Clark and Codie McMahan recorded multiple hits for the Trojans, while Devin Hopper and Austin Welch had two hits apiece for the Lions
The Trojans scored eight runs in between the second and fourth innings to jump out to a commanding 8-0 lead. King ended the contest with a two-run single to right field.
