Bulldogs back at Hump for Mississippi Valley

Mississippi State will try to pick up where it left off before Christmas when it plays host to Mississippi Valley State at 7 p.m. today at Humphrey Colisum.
The Bulldogs (10-2) have won seven in a row, but they’ve been off since dispatching Centenary, 88-51, on Tuesday. State is led by junior Ravern Johnson (14.8 points per game), senior Jarvis Varnado (13.7 ppg) and senior Barry Stewart (12.1 ppg).
MVSU (1-11), which has lost nine in a row, is paced by Julius Cheeks (11.0 ppg).
Kids high school age and younger get free admission to tonight’s game, while adult tickets cost only $5.
