Bulldogs move up in both major basketball polls

Mississippi State got an upward nudge in both major basketball polls on Monday.
The Bulldogs (18-5, 5-3 SEC) came in at No. 20 in the Associated Press poll, two spots higher than last week.
They got a one-spot bump in the USA Today coaches poll, to No. 18.
MSU played just one game last week, defeating Auburn 91-88 at home on Saturday. State is back in action on Thursday at home versus Ole Miss, then hosts Georgia two days later.
