HOUSTON – Calhoun City coach Perry Liles is thankful he doesn’t have to face his offense.

Five different players scored touchdowns for the Wildcats in the win at Houston.

“I’m so glad I don’t have to defend us,” said Liles, whose Wildcats (2-0) are ranked No 1 in 2A/1A by the Daily Journal. “It’s hard to know who’s going to get it or what we’re going to be in or do.”

Jesse Nabors scored on runs of seven and two yards, along with Brieton Sykes, Pat Gardner, Chakel Gates and JoJo Gray.

A half-dozen turnovers – five fumbles, one interception – hampered the Hilltoppers (1-1).
