FULTON – Itawamba Community College softball coach Chad Case is stepping down after four seasons to become the school’s new director of
Case, who is the winningest softball coach in the history of the college, amassed a record
of 103-47. He led the Lady Indians to their first MACJC north division title in 2010.
“It was an extremely tough decision,” said Case. “Opportunities like this don’t come around too often and I felt I was at a point in my career where it would be a much easier transition for the program to be able to continue their winning ways under a new head coach.”
Case served five seasons as an assistant baseball coach at ICC before taking over as softball coach in 2008.
The search for Case’s replacement will begin immediately according to Athletic Director Carrie Ball-Williamson.
