G’morning, glad you could join us. Tough loss for the Bulldogs in Nashville last night after fighting back from large deficits. Still thinking about Barry Stewart and Dee Bost’s long three with a tapped wrist.
Parrish Alford was in Nashville for us and has a story and notes …
Paul Jones helped us recap the Miss. State football recruiting class. Dan Mullen said he would hit Mississippi hard and he did. This quote jumped out at me from Paul’s story – “We want to make sure we don’t miss the next Jerry Rice, or a John Banks, or miss on a Kaleb Eulls, or miss on a Christian Holmes, that are at small schools,” said Mullen. “Those guys can have pride in that last game when they know what they are playing for, and that’s bragging rights for this state.” Not hard to see he is talking about playing for that Egg Bowl trophy next to him in the photo.
Hope you have a good day, and I look forward to hearing from you about the hoops game last night, recruiting or whatever else Maroon & White is on your mind.
Thanks for being here,
