Kennedy on SEC teleconference | Ole Miss Sports

A few highlights from Ole Miss coach Andy Kennedy on today’s SEC conference call …

– Oxford is blanketed with snow like everywhere else in North Mississippi. Kennedy says that has slowed some things down but practice is scheduled for later today.

– Said he was proud of the team’s effort to take the lead in the second half. Credited Florida with big plays and big shots. Said he felt like Ole Miss didn’t lose the game but Florida made the plays to win it.

– Liked the Rebels field goal percentage against what has been one of the league’s better defensive teams in the early going.

– Said he was encouraged by team’s rebounding peformance. Florida went into the game plus-8.5 on the board, best in the SEC. Rebels left Gainesville with a 33-32 edge on the glass.
