Fresno State’s 48-24 win at Idaho included a five-touchdown performance by quarterback Derek Carr, and fans have showed their appreciation at the ticket office.
As of last night roughly 26,000 tickets had been sold for 41,031-seat Bulldog Stadium, setting up what Fresno State coach Pat Hill hopes will be a big night against Ole Miss both on and off the field.
Hill told the Fresno Bee, “These types of games, as the landscape changes in college athletics, are going to be harder and harder to get. I promise you that. … This is the way that we pay for our athletic program right here. We don’t get it through TV contracts or bowl games. We get them at the gate. This is a big one for us, very big.”
