ATLANTA – Ole Miss senior point guard Chris Warren is one of 50 players that were named to the 2010-11 Naismith Preseason Watch List, the Atlanta Tipoff Club announced Tuesday.
This year’s diverse list includes the top men’s college basketball players from 44 schools around the country. It was compiled by the Atlanta Tipoff Club’s Board of Selectors, which based its criteria on player performances from the previous year and expectations for the 2010-11 college basketball season.

Warren is one of five players from Southeastern Conference schools on the list, along with Kentucky’s Brandon Knight, Florida’s Chandler Parsons, Vanderbilt’s Jeffery Taylor and Georgia’s Trey Thompkins. The Rebels’ 5-foot-10 floor general from Orlando, Fla., has also been tabbed as a preseason All-SEC first team selection by the media and league coaches and is one of 30 candidates for the Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award.
