Prized recruit Quay Evans is among five members of the 2012 class to enroll at Mississippi State this month, the school announced Friday.
The defensive tackle from Morton, considered by many the top recruit in the state, is joined by offensive lineman Justin Senior and three junior college players who signed in December: defensive end Denico Autry, and offensive linemen Dylan Holley and Charles Siddoway.
Evans (6-foot-3, 305 pounds) made 72 tackles and 4.5 sacks last season. Senior, who’s from Montreal by way of Hargrave Military Academy, is 6-6, 280.
All five players will be able to go through spring practices, which begin March 22 and conclude with the Maroon-White Game on April 21.
