FULTON – ICC head football coach Jon Williams announced the 2011 football schedule which includes five games to be featured at Lambert Stadium on the Fulton campus of Itawamba Community College.
“We’re excited to get five home games this season,” said Williams. “We want our program to be a source of pride for our community and the best way we can do that is to put a good product on the field and get out there and win.”
The 2011 opener will see the Indians hit the road on September 1 to take on Hinds before returning home for back-to-back home dates against Pearl River (Sept 8) and East Central (Sept 15).
ICC will have two-straight Saturday games this season as they play host to Mississippi Delta for homecoming on October 1 with a special start time of 5:00 p.m. The Indians travel to Coahoma the following Saturday (Oct 8) before hosting Holmes (Oct 13) and traveling to Northeast (Oct 20).
The Indians open league play on the road against East Mississippi (Sept 22) before closing out the season against Northwest (Oct 27) in a rematch of last season’s MACJC North Division championship game.
