Hall paces Blue Mountain in three-team match win

HOLLY SPRINGS – Adam Hall fired a two-over-par 74 on Thursday to lead Blue Mountain College to a three-shot win against Ashford (Iowa) and Aurora (Illinois) Universities on Thursday.
Hall, a native of Saltillo, birdied the 15th and 18th holes to take home medalist honors at the event.
Blue Mountain’s Brandon Robbins of Corinth shot an 80 to finish third and Tanner Sparks of Belmont finished fourth with 81. Grant Burns turned an 86 and Michael Collie had an 87.
In women’s individual play, BMC’s Allie Newby of West Union shot a 107 and Taylor Gilchrist of Oxford had a 127.
