FULTON – Itawamba Community College women’s basketball coach Nanci Gray announced sophomore Ebony Williams has signed to play basketball at Mississippi College.

“It feels real good to be living one of the dreams I’ve always had as a basketball player,” said Williams. “I’ve learned a lot of things by coming to ICC and I hope to be able to take those things I’ve learned to help me go on to be a big impact at Mississippi College.”

As a sophomore, the Calhoun City native averaged 10 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2 assist, and 1.5 steals per game to help lead the Lady Indians to the semi-finals of the MACJC and NJCAA Region 23 tournaments. She was selected to the MACJC North All-Star roster and earned a spot on the MACJC All-State honorable mention list.

“I know that Ebony will be able to make an impact at Mississippi College,” say Gray. “We are sad to see her go because she has been such a tremendous force in our program, but we’re excited for because it’s a celebration of something she has worked extremely hard for in her life.”

As a freshman, Williams scored 7.8 points and grabbed 4 rebounds per game.
