ICC men travel to Delta with seeding on the line

By NEMS Daily Journal

The Itawamba Community College men control their own destiny in today’s basketball game at Mississippi Delta. Tipoff is set for 1:30 p.m.
It’s a makeup date for a game delayed by weather earlier this season. The ICC women do not play today.
With a win, the Indians will be the No. 2 seed for the state tournament and play Jones on Tuesday at Copiah-Lincoln. With a loss, ICC is the No. 4 seed and plays Mississippi Gulf Coast.
A victory today would also assure ICC of a berth in next week’s NJCAA Region 23 Tournament in Clinton.
The ICC women are idle today, already assured of he No. 2 seed in the state tourney. The Lady Indians play Pearl River on Monday night at Co-Lin.
