FULTON, Miss. – ICC moved up to No. 12 in both the NJCAA and JCGridiron.com football polls after a 40-6 win over Southwest Mississippi Community College on Thursday.

The Indians (2-0) jumped three spots from No. 15 in the latest NJCAA poll released on Tuesday and four spots in the JCGridiron.com poll released late Monday.

“It’s an honor to be seen as part of the top teams in the nation,” said ICC head football coach Jon Williams. “Hopefully it’s something that the guys see to make them have a sense of pride and hunger to work harder to keep getting better each week.”

ICC will return to Eaton Field on Thursday night as it plays host to Mississippi Delta Community College in the Indians’ first MACJC North Division game of the season. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. The game can be heard on WAFM 95.7 FM starting with the Davis Ford Pre-Game Show at 6:40 and will be streamed live on LetsGoICC.com.
