FULTON – Itawamba Community College continues to climb in the National Junior College Athletic Association rankings, as the Indians jumped two spots to No. 7 this week.

ICC (4-0, 2-0 North Division) is coming off a 13-10 win over Holmes.

“It’s an honor to be ranked amongst the nation’s best in the eyes of the NJCAA,” said ICC head football coach Jon Williams. “I hope our players see this as a responsibility to reflect those rankings by going to work each day to keep getting better and be able to play like a top-ranked team each time we take the field.”

The Indians’ 4-0 start is the first for the program since 1992, and they will be looking for their first 5-0 start in the history of the program when they face Northwest Mississippi (1-3, 1-1 North) for homecoming on Saturday.

Kickoff is slated for 4:00 p.m. against the Rangers. The game can be heard on WAFM 95.7 FM and watched online at LetsGoICC.com starting at 3:40 with the Davis Ford Pre-Game Show.
